Digital reader
The Alex eReader is an e-book reader created alongside
Spring Design. As with the Barnes & Noble cranny,
the Alex features dual screens, the characters upper class being a
6-inch menacing and white electronic ink protection and
the decrease being a 3.5 inch HVGA (480×320) come
vet color LCD. The utensil has Wi-Fi and alert
network connectivity and has “complete internet browsing”.
The device runs on Google Android model 1.5. Foreign
release was expected during the elementary week of Walk 2010;
the device shipment started April 14. This heraldic bearing last wishes as

Books, Epub Books, Gutenberg, Spider’s web Books, Feed Books, Smash words…
The thesis is stored on a removable micro SD card. Users can
also duplicate components to SD with PC or desk top computers.
Alex is an ereader that combines two displays, an e-Ink display
all in all in return reading, and the LCD for browsing. Comparing the Alex
with the hide-out e-reader, the less important LCD screen is used in the interest more
than navigation. One can view content on either of the screens
and abuse a button to flip the manifest endorse and forth b/w the
tap color screen and EPD screen. The color screen is used
to annotate text with the content on the EPD screen highlighted
in gray whenever there is a highlight, quotation or voice annotation,
or hyperlink to other materials.
The Alex reader includes applications such as a paperback reader, mp3
entertainer, spider’s web browser, tools to be in charge of annotations of digital queries,
an email client and a calculator. Included futures are recording
share comments and adding hyperlinks.
Bounce Invent plans to save an Android SDK away mid 2010, encouraging
developers to create applications exchange for the Alex. As of
September 11th 2010 the SDK is not mentioned on the Hop Plan web site.
